Fantasy Football 2015

2014 No DOT FF Champ

Above is my championship trophy with my name on it. Trying to do a repeat this season.  Looking forward to the challenge see you in the title game this year

My 1st Fantasy Football Draft 2014

This is 12 team keeper league with PPR scoring format.  I made one huge mistake before the draft by not keeping Matt Forte. I hope I don’t regret this latter. So here is who I drafted in this draft.

Tony Romo

Ryan Tannehill

Analysis: These two need to come close to last years stats to keep this position close every week. They also need to stay healthy. I may play the match-up strategy sometimes with these two.

Running backs

LeVeon Bell

Frank Gore

Ray Rice

Analysis: Bell could be a every week stud if he has head on straight, Gore and Rice have fallen off in recent years plus Rice is out for the first two games. If Bell matches or exceeds his numbers from last year I can play the matchup strategy with Gore and Rice to maximize the RB2 position. I am sure I will need another back before the season is over.

Wide Receivers

Calvin Johnson

Brandon Marshall

Emmanuel Sanders

Michael Floyd

Analysis: This the strongest part of my squad, which will give me chance to run a 4 wide lineup. These guys could be every week starters.

Analysis: These were late round picks I should have only used one pick on this position.

Mason Crosby

Nick Novak

Analysis: Another position where I should have used one pick on. I will go with the hot kicker.

Final Analysis: Overall this seems to be a good draft for me with a couple areas improvement. This could be a championship team with a few adjustments and the right management, which could mean a couple hundred dollars in my pocket. I have never won this league and would like to bring the new year in with a championship.

My Fantasy Thoughts Week 10

This has not been a good fantasy year for me. Out of my four teams one will make the playoffs, while two other teams could make it. I would have to win out in regular season to make the playoffs with the other two teams.

Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson are under performing this year based on previous fantasy stats. When Reggie Bush is your #1 RB that position becomes a weakness on your team. Bush just doesn’t get into the endzone enough and he doesn’t touch the ball enough. In my big payout league Joique Bell is my #2 RB enough said.

QB     Stafford

RB     Bush

RB     J.Bell

WR   C.Johnson

WR   J.Jones

WR   S.Johnson

TE    Gresham

PK    Janikowski

Def   Giants

Looks like a solid lineup but it’s only produced a 3-6 record. Who would have thought it. Not me that’s how fantasy football goes.
